A Good Weekend

We had a good weekend.  I haven't cried in days.  We had snow flurries last Thursday and played in them with our kids.  We even took several pictures of all of us laughing and playing.  We then took a day trip on Saturday to Oneonta, Al to see the covered bridges and to visit Palisades Park.  We love to take the kids there and wanted to see what it looked like with snow.  It had snowed heavier there and there were places where the ponds and rivers had frozen.  That is an oddity in Alabama! We had a very good day and laughed and played with the kids....oh it was cold though... 26 degrees at 2 in the afternoon....brrrr!   We came home and enjoyed a nice home cooked meal.  We spent Sunday playing with the kids on their Wii...Wii bowling can kick butt! We spent the weekend like we used to.  We were laughing and playing...no crying.  I still thought about what he had done but chose to not let it ruin our time together.  I hope that it continues....

That sounds great, I\'m happy for you! Stay positive, that\'s what I\'m trying to do also. I haven\'t cried in a few days....trying to just think about the future and what I want to get out of it...only good things. In the end we can only control what we feel and do. I really think the more positive we are about life the more positive things will come into our life. Guess that\'s \"the secret\" or so I\'ve read. I really hope so. Take care and here\'s to more happy days. xo

I do too. Thanks for the support!!! I hope things work out for ya\'ll also.

I still have my bad days. I have doubts and fears about what the future holds. All I can do is hope that we make it. My H and I do not want our marriage to fail. He has become very attentive and understanding since I told him that what we had was dead. He is trying very hard to rebuild our marriage and love. He tells me that he will never do this to me again. I can only hope that he won\'t.

As for staying positive...I have to get out of my head and just live in the moment to keep from doing some serious dwelling on this. I have been trying to think of other things or not think at all...that is the hardest one to do. So far, no tears since Wednesday...I hope it lasts!

Thanks again for your support...I really needed it.

Thanks! I really still have a lot of moments of doubt and insecurity...A LOT!!! But he is doing everything he can to make things better and to make me feel secure again. I can\'t have my heart broken like that again. I won\'t! He knows that. I am trying to be upbeat for myself and my kids. So far, we have managed to keep them from this.

I read a post last night from someone about whether you would marry them if you knew what you know right now. I would. I have too many happy memories with him and I have two beautiful, wonderful kids from our marriage. I absolutely would not change that for any amount of happiness. No matter what happens with my H and me, we have them and they cannot be replaced.

So yes, I would still marry him. I know that sounds so wrong but it is how I feel and see it.

Thanks again!
