A Good Tired

Yesterday I was over my goal of 100.00-hitting my 200.00 goal for the weekend.  I got up yesterday and Roomie and I went and ate breakfast then I proceeded to go out and instacart for the afternoon.  By 400pm my body ached from lifting, bending and walking all day.

I still had to stop and get my own groceries and it was all I could so just to get out of the car.  I was so brain dead that I forgot to buy ketchup, mayo and pickles for the hamburgers and wound up having to go back out for those.

I am getting anxious about moving.  I am finding lots of furniture i want but cant buy anything till I get over there and see how much actual space I have to work with.

I'm handling things very differently at work this week..I'm sitting boundaries on what I'm willing to except or not. I understand my boss is under alot of stress but that doesnt give her the right to take it out on me.  I suspect it's more than that.

Its Monday and I hope this week goes by quickly.

A happy Monday to all:)

Well-done exhaustion is one of the memories I'm well in to waxing nostalgic over. As I rock wistfully and gaze over my porch rail, I remember that exhaustion as the best damned sleep aid I've ever tried. I remember sleeping like a well-loved baby within minutes of my head hitting the pillow.

Then I come back to that confusing time between naps (reality) and remember that the wax of nostalgia can cover cracks gooder 'n' plaster of Paris. Onward through the fog. . .

Setting boundaries and maintaining boundaries seem to be two radically different steps in my herstory. I have no control over people who cannot and/or will not respect boundaries I have set. I work to use their violations as radical acceptance exercises. Just breathe.

At least, I think that's what I do. Alas, I still pop off all to often. Sigh. . . I make some of the greatest speeches I'll ever regret when I am righteous.

Unfortunately, I've had to start documenting things at work.

I love to see how ambitious you are. You don't sit around and feel sorry for yourself, you know what you want and you go out and get it!

You are one in a hundred Sage! You are a go-getter! keep it up and good things will happen.
