A Good Time up North
Well, that was kinda nice! Four days in the far north, with my brothers and our crazy sons. Lots of fishing. ATVing. Skeet shooting. Camp fires. etc. It was just what I'd hoped for. There were a few little annoyances, like my Interferon shot failed on me. I plunged the little fella in and pushed down, when all of a sudden some of the stuff was running down my leg. Ooops. Pull it out and reset the needle on the syringe and back in she goes. More leaking. Out again. Reset. Back in. In the end I think I got about three quarters of the dose in my leg and one quarter on my leg. This may have been a blessing, since my WBC are now getting way too low. I'll get the full 180mg of love this Friday. I was also a bit sad that the new gold mine looks like they are going to buy out the camp we go to and probably wreck some of the lakes. Personally, I think lakes are better than gold any day, but what do I know. But on the positive side, I just love the early autumn and the sense of anticipation as the Creation prepares for winter. The sky is gun metal grey. The water is cold and whipped up by wind. It's a time of anticipation that winter will come and it will challenge you. But if you persevere, you will see the Spring and new life. Sounds a bit like tx, huh! Anyways, I don't expect everyone to share my fascination with Fall and Winter... they even think I'm wierd up here! Take care gang!
