A Good Sunday.

Monday, July 07, 2008 – 10:00 A.M. The only thing different about yesterday is that it went pretty much as planned. That can be scary at times, but I am not knocking it.   I managed to watch the car race that I wanted to see. The wrong driver won, but I cannot be blamed for that.   A couple of people came to see me – one was expected and the other was not. I was able to get a good discount on tickets for rides from the transportation agency I use, even though I still think they should pay me for using their service.   I saw a former CNA, and talked with him about the possibility of him going to Las Vegas with me in the fall or winter. After thinking about it for a few minutes, he said that if I could give him three or four months notice, he thought something could be worked out.   Although I had planned on going somewhere today, a look toward the mountains (that is Colorado talk for “west”) tells me that a lot of rain is headed this way. My plans will need to be put off until Wednesday.   Quotes for Success:   “You are the only one who can use your ability. It is an awesome responsibility.” Zig Ziglar

Jim, you make me laugh. I needed it today. What\'s in Vegas? How exciting to go on a trip! Have you been there before?

I was in Vegas in the 70\'s. There were so many people, and it was so stifling hot, that I swore I\'d never go back. But, my family knows I am a large fan of magic, so they found out there is supposed to be some kind of \"magical extravaganza\" and they want me to go see it. Since they seem to be willing to pay for part of my trip, I might as well take advantage of the opportunity.

If I like Vegas, I might even consider moving there. How much worse can it be than where I\'m living at right now?
