A good laugh...sorta
So I woke up to a beautiful day today and thought I would take advantage of it. I havent really been out much since Max went to heaven except for work and a few erronds. Other than that, I have pretty much isolated myself in my house. I decided I would get the grill out and make something for lunch. My hair is a mess and still had pajamas on thinking I wouldnt run into anyone and could just do the whole grill thing quickly. Well to start it off as soon as I got my little grill up on the picnic table and big gust of wind blew it off, causing a huge crash, and of couse everybody outside near me turned to see what it was. I tried to act like it didnt happen and put it back on the table not looking at anyone starting at me outside in my pajamas. Well, then I couldnt get the stupid thing to light. Its a gas grill, and the wind kept blowing it out. After a few minutes I finaly gave up. Already embarassed that people already saw me in my wonderful dont give a crap look, I decided to go back inside and just make lunch in there. I guess my dog felt that I didnt get enough fresh air, because to my shock..HE LOCKED ME OUT!!he must have jumped and hit the lock with his paw. I mean really?..come on now, this NEVER happens. So i sucked it up with my best face on and went to my neighbors to ask for a knife to try to break into my own house. After many attempts with the knife I finally figured out something...My house can not be broken into easily. I mean dont get me wrong thats a good thing, but when your standing outside on your front porch with pajamas on and messy hair, its not good when people are standing there watching you try to break in. I went to the kitchen window and prayed I didnt lock it. I found that I hadnt and got it opened. I stood there debating on wether or not my big ol' butt was going to fit thru and if so how much it was going to hurt when I fell in on the floor. Around this time, another neighbor came over and asked what happened. I explained what the dog did and after she was done laughing at me she told me to just go thru the window that Ill fit thru no problem. I told her that I always leave my keys on the counter and if I can just get something to reach them Ill be fine. Well in the process of getting to the keys I had to push everything off the counters that was in the way..the blender, coffee maker, magic bullet, sugar cup all went crashing to the floor. I even had to pull the paper towels out the window. I finally got my keys and inside. So I have decided, leaving the house is not safe and can cause a huge mess on my kitchen floor. Maybe Ill just hide inside awhile longer!
