A good few hrs

I headed to the watering hole for a glass of champagne where i just had one glass.  A friend met me over there and we had a good time socializing.  Its a local place and Im starting to get to know them..careful not to to talk so much about my private life but also too not to start drinking heavily again . The last few times ive gone ive had diet coke.  I dont know whether to be disappointed or elated.  Ive sent my paperwork in for Uber and waiting on approval to become a driver.  They do a pretty thorough back ground check.  

I think it would be smart to carry a canister of mace with me.  Even though I am not afraid in the town i will be driving in, i still think it smart for a single lady.  I have to find my own place...this is what Im working toward.  Never had my own space and things...im just trying to figure out where and what that is.  Im trying to learn to ttrust people again and have social relationships.

All and all, a decent week.  Ill stop now, dont wanna jinx it.
