GOLDEN SOUL! :) A GOLDEN DERBY DAY!!! :) oh my! :) oh boy!!! :) I WON! :) Kentucky Derby 2013, we will always and forever remember! :) it was awesome, celebrating an amazing derby day, with wonderful joys, exciting and thrilling race, cheering on the horses, and enjoying a wonderful time, with family and friends. :) my family and i had so much fun, and had the time of our lives, celebrating the Kentucky derby with everyone. :) Thank you for celebrating with us :) a fun visit to the Mohegan Sun, a sweet call from Churchill Downs, from our dear, and lovely friend Gaye (LuvMyTitans), and cheering on our horses. :) i have a winning ticket!!! :) i am so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled! :) The derby day, was rocking and rolling all day! :) my mom, dad, and i, had a sweet time going to the mohegan sun yesterday, placing our bets on the derby, and going to krispy kreme donuts. :)
During the early evening yesterday, our dear, and lovely friend Gaye (LuvMytTitans) called me from Churchill Downs, in Louisville, Kentucky, at the Kentucky Derby! :) She and her family were at the race! :) this was so exciting! :) i could hear the excitement in Gaye's voice, and everyone's voice. :) Gaye called me back, right before they began to sing, MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME! :) This was absolutely incredible! :) i heard the crowd cheering! singing! :) This was such a sweet joyful time! :) The horses were coming out, and it was almost time, for post time! :) Race time! :) i thanked Gaye, for calling me. :) i will always remember, hearing the excitement in her voice, and the crowd's cheering, and singing. :) that was spectacular to hear! :) We were all so very excited, about the derby. :)
my mom, sister Lisa, Kayla, and i were in our living room, as the race was about to begin! :) HERE WE GO!!! :) DERBY TIME!!! :) AND THEIR OFF!!! :) The RACE BEGAN! :) oh my! :) the horses we re running so very fast, the #10 horse came out with the early lead, one of my horses, #4, Golden Soul, was in nearly last place!!! awwww! come on! come on! You can do it! :) we were all cheering on the horses, and all of a sudden, as they got ready to come down the stretch, #16, Orb horse, took the lead, and here comes #4, GOLDEN SOUL!!! :) oh my! :) he is running!!! running!!! and finished 2nd place, after 1st place, Orb. :) GOLDEN SOUL! :) we were cheering! :) i said, "I WON! I WON! I WON!" hehe! :) i was so very tickled happy, excited, and thrilled! :) my mom gave me a HIGH FIVE! :) awww! :) this was so neat to see! :) it was a thrilling derby race :) it's so cool to experience moments like this, that make you want to jump up and down! :) hehe! :)
GOLDEN SOUL, the #4 horse, i bet on, a $6 across the board ticket! :) The horse, was a longshot, 34-1, and came in 2nd place! :) this is amazing!!! :) i won, the 2nd place money, and 3rd place money, as i had the horse, in a win/place/show! :) The place money is $38.60 and the show money is, $19.40, for a total of $58. :) i am so very happy, and excited to win the $58. :) friends were texting me to congratulate me. :) everyone is so excited i have a winning ticket :) i was so pumped up, and so thrilled! :) i am beyond excited! :) wow! :) whoooo! :) we were celebrating. :) Congratulations to Orb, for winning the derby. :) Orb is the Kentucky Derby Champion. :) my dad called from work, he listened to the race on the radio, and my dad said, "Hey, you won! alright!" :) awww! :) this was so cool, and neat! :)
It's the 2nd time i have won some money, while playing the Kentucky Derby. :) in 2010, i picked #4, Super Saver horse, and won $45, and now, 2013, i picked #4, Golden Soul horse, and won $58. :) i am so happy and excited! :) when i first looked at the derby horses this week, the contenders for the race, GOLDEN SOUL caught my eye, for a very special reason. :) i thought of our dear friend, our angel friend, Wildthing. i thought about the GOLDEN sunrises upon the bird sanctuary, and Wildthing's peaceful SOUL :) Golden Soul :) i just had to place a bet on Golden Soul. :) i was thinking of Wildthing yesterday evening, and during sunset hour yesterday evening, i went outside and visited the bird sanctuary, to get a few of the sunset sky. :) it was a GOLDEN day, that we enjoyed so very much, celebrating with everyone, the spirit of Kentucky derby day, and the amazing joys, of all of the exciting traditions, festivities, and celebrations. :) it was absolutely incredible, fun, memorable, and very exciting. :) We will always cherish, and treasure the very special memories, from Kentucky Derby 2013. :) it was so thrilling, we already can't wait until the 2nd race of the triple crown, the Preakness Stakes, on May 18th. :) my mom, dad, and i want to place some bets on the Preakness. :) i am so happy, and excited to share our Kentucky derby celebration with everyone. :) i'll always remember, the thrilling moments throughout the day, and Golden Soul, coming in 2nd place. :) A GOLDEN DERBY DAY! :) i'm so happy, and delighted that everyone enjoyed my journal, and pictures i took at the Mohegan Sun :) it's really cool there, it's like a whole other world, at the mohegan sun :) there's the casino, shops, restaurants, many cool sights. :) We love going there during the triple crown horse racing season :)
AWESOME SUNSHINE SUNDAY! :) my family and i hope everyone is enjoying a beautiful sunday, and a great weekend. :) Tomorrow's my dad's birthday. :) today, we had some family over to visit. :) We've been hanging out, outside in our front yard. :) my brother Charlie and his girlfriend Barbara stopped by to visit earlier, and my sister Jenn and little Michael came over to visit. :) we were sitting under our front tree. :) Little Michael got a cool little bike, it's a 3 wheel bike, it's really nice. :) the kids were having lots of fun playing. :) i was sipping some iced water. :) Earlier i took some nasonex spray to help prevent my allergies from getting severe. i went out back for a bit to do some gardening, and tending our plants. :) i planted some more sunflower seeds, and i also gave our plants a really nice watering. :)
The plants, trees, and bushes have been needing some nice water nourishment, as it's been very warm, sunny weather. we do have some rain in our forecast the upcoming week, which is gonna be so nice, and will create lots more super mega growing, and blossoming of the spring season. :) the bumble bees are pollenating the fruit trees, they're so happy, and excited, buzzy bees in the yard and garden. :) We believe it's going to be a wonderful season for fruits, apples, pears, peaches, grapes, raspberries, and blueberries. :) there's lots of people out and about, mowing their lawns, working in the yard, and gardens. :) in our front yard, we have some planters on the side of our front steps. :) little Michael helped me do some gardening. :)

I love Stephen Foster\'s spirituals, like OLD KENTUCKY HOME. Like many creative people, he was too sensitive for this harsh world. He developed an alcohol problem and died from a fall when he was drunk. Very sad. But he left so much beautiful music behind for us all to enjoy! Love ya.

Glad to see all of your beautiful spoiled plants!!! They had no idea they would get such loving care in their lives, but you\'re the man to give it to them!! I wish you could come to my farm and help me water as we\'ve got some of the garden planted so it\'s an every morning thing now...
The PPMS meeting was attended fairly well and it was nice to see some members who are unable to attend all the time. Once again, I am discouraged as some said they were coming then did not... So much work goes into these meetings and they really whip me out in the energy department... It will all be good after I can just relax at home for a couple of dayz--that\'s what I intend to do though I\'ll be cleaning again...
