A FRIENDSHIP CHAIN

I have been coming across many people who do also have big time struggles or worries.  Some have health issues, some financial, some anxiety from past experiences or current with family or friends. I think we all could use a prayer or two to get us through

So I would like to add prayers for all my friends on here for health and happiness (or at least contentment)  (Several who are having an even harder time right now I am sending double.  That better at least warrant a smile, knowing we have niot forgotten you.)

I would also ask for several relatives, sister, brother in law, cousin and her family and especially her son who is also struggling with something undiagnosed. .

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE WHO NEEDS AN EXTRA BLESSING. AS FAR AS i AM CONCERNED WE ALL CAN "get by with a little help from our friends."

Hello, All!

I was thinking about something similar today in my own life, but in kind of a settled, hopeful way for myself. Today's thought is that if I was asking for someone to whisper a bit of a prayer for me, I think the favor I'd be asking is to have the eyes to see all the people in my life who come across my path with bits of themselves to share with me that are what I really need for the day and not a dream I make up of what I need or what would complete me. If I had the eyes and heart to be really grateful for all the miracles of sharing and relationship people bring me in person or on-line, I don't think there would be much room in my heart to be lonely or homesick or feeling "less-than." And if I was still a little lonely or a little homesick, think I could be grateful for knowing those feelings and knowing the sort of bond with other folks who are at a point of feeling that too. So I don't know what all of you most need, but my whisper to God or God by the name you recognize is that our eyes are more open to see each other as gifts in our lives, and that our eyes are open to the opportunity to become gifts to others as well..

The best to all of you. I am closing my day with warm thoughts thinking about kind exchanges of encouragement here on DS from you and others and hoping to have the gift of being generous and thoughtful as so many are here.

Smiling,
Liam

Prayers to all and a big thank you to Ouilliam for putting into words something that I do so often think about but should be a warm reminder in those very difficult times as we make our way through.

I need to add my sister in laws. I spoke to one earlier tonight and I have never heard her so down and ready to go. She has a very strong faith and does not worry because as she says "she knows which way she is going" but it broke my heart when she admitted she has recently been asking God to take her because she cannot stand the pain and all the issues she's been having.

She had a rough patch for awhile a few years back but had made it through and was her old self again. Going to church, meeting with friends at free lunches and get togethers and fairly active again, but for the last 6 months or so she's not feeling well and getting around less so is basically a prisoner in her own house (Which my late husband and I were telling her for years to get rid of as it is 3 stories and bathroom is on second floor)

I did tell her that I may be selfish, but I don't want to lose her yet.. But I also told her that I don't want her suffering . I'm praying for her healing both physical and emotional.
