A FEW SHINGLES ON THE ROOF
Ok ok. So after 85 years of pulling hair back it may be a bit thinner on top. So perhaps someone may have thought I could use a few shingles on the roof? But I don't think this is what they had in mind.
While on routine visit to check up on sugars, I showed and mentioned my concern. They promptly shipped me to urgent care. I do have shingles.
It started with a small bump and tender spot on top of my head. I thought washing the hair good and carefully would help but instead woke up with more. They dont really itch, but hurt if I touch and pain is now throughout my entire right sinus from eye to jaw. I think back now to when I was a little kid and they told me DON'T TOUCH. Very difficult but I need to watch my eye....
DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS FOR ME TO BEHAVE????

shingles are terrible....I took the two shot vaccine to help me not get them....
I am sorry for you getting them and that they are by your eye is bad....when I lived in CT in the psych hospital 13months my first room mate Bruce had a scar next to his eye on face and he told me it was from shingles.....that was first I had heard of shingles....that was back in 1983 maybe? 82?

Hey there Kim, ya shingles are surprisingly painful. I had a very mild case on my chest 2 years ago and it hurt for weeks. I’m still considering getting the vaccine as I don’t want the full effect…. Probably won’t in the near future.

I got the vaccine years ago. Glad that I did. The horror stories I hear from people getting the shingles, no thank you.
