A few of my favorite Scripture verses

Romans 5:10 “For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of the Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of the Son.”
Ephesians 2:4-9 "But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much (5) that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God's grace that you have been saved. (6) For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms becase se are united wth Christ. (7) So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are untied with Christ. (8) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. (9) Salvation is not a reward for good things we have done, so no one can boast about it."
Psalm 145:8 “The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.”
Psalm 145:9 The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all of his creation.”
2 Corinthians 5:19-21 “For God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliatin. (20) So we are Christ's ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead,'come back to God!' (21) For God made Christ, who never sinned to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ." KJV words that last part: "...that we might be made ther righteousness OF God in him."
Colossians 1:19-20 “For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ. (20) And through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven, and on the earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.”
Colossians 1:22 “Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before God without a single fault.”
1 John 2:2 “He himself is the sacrifice that atones for sins—and not only our sins but the sins of the whole world.”
Acts 10:34-35 “Then Peter replied, ‘I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. (35) In EVERY nation he accepts those that fear him.”
Romans 8:32 “Since he did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?”
Luke 12:29-32 " And don't be concerned about what to eat or what to drink. Don't worry about such things. (30) These things dominate the thoughts of unbeleivers all over the world, byr your Father already knows your needs. (31) Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need. (32 So don't be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father great happiness to give you the kingdom.”
Psalm 35:27 “But give great joy to those who came to my defense. Let them continually say'Great is the LORD who delights in blessing his servant with peace." KJV says, "...Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”
Proverbs 10:22 “The blessing of the LORD makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow to it.”
James 1:17-18 “Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. (18) He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.
John 5:24 "I [Jesus]tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life."
Colossians 1:12-13 "Always thanking the Father. He has enabled us to share in the inheritance that belongs to his peole who live in the light. (13) For he as rescued from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. (14) Who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins."

Thank you Carly!
These are all wonderful! I am very excited because I ordered a NKJ bible and the words of Jesus are in red. I've always wanted one in red. I had bought the New International Version bible but was told by my son and daughter in law that parts of the bible are missing in that version. Since I have a learning disability when it comes to reading and comprehending, I got nervous. I don't want to miss anything!! So my family suggested I get the NKJ version. Right now my favorite verse is Philippians 4:13!! Stay safe, healthy, and sending you hugs.
Thanks Gramybear. I love the verse you added, Philippians 4:13 is also a favorite of mine, even though I didn't list it here. I quote that verse to myself often. For anyone reading this that isn't familiar Philippians 4:13 it says, "I can do all things through Christ which stregtheneth me." I think it's great that you ordered a NKJV. I have several translations, but I believe the KJV and the NKJV are the most accurately translated. Your son and daughter-in-law are correct about the NIV, there are some passages missing. In my New Living Translation it has explanations about why some Bible translations don't include everything. It depends on what original manuscript was used for translating. It wasn't that the translaters just chose to leave some verses out, it's that they weren't there in the manuscript they chose to translate from. In my NLT Bible it will say, "shorter manuscript ending" but then it will also include the longer version. It also leaves verses out, and will skip numbers, but if you look at the notes at the bottom it will have a note for the missing number and it will say, "Some manuscripts include verse --x--which says...." Anyway, the NKJV includes the verses from every manuscript, and I think that's very important. You stay safe also, and I'm also sending you hugs! Blessings!
Grammybear,
My favorite Bible version is the NKJV.
