A few good days
I have had a few good days strung together this week, nonetheless.
I am feeling REALLY good about some of the positive changes I've made lately, and feeling like the meds are really working. We just recently upped the SSRI cuz I was still feeling really on edge and especially bad during "that time of the month", but with the new dosage, I'm feeling a lot more relief.
The other day, i actually almost started crying about how different i am now than I was like in November, before I started my meds.
~I actually have hobbies/likes and dislikes now
~I have made GOALS for myself
~I have been trying to exercise three times a week
~I have been taking better care of myself: eating better, drinking more water, taking vitamins
~I've joined therapy (in January).
~I've been trying to nurture myself too, and carve out a little time for JUST me each day
I mean, four months ago, I could barely breathe, i was just treading water and in survival mode. So, I am grateful and I have to honor all those good changes I have made.
Don't get me wrong, I know I still have a bumpy road ahead, but I feel like now, I have a lot more systems and tools in place to help me deal with them.
