A day without crutches!

Well I didn't get to go for my medical yesterday, just as I was getting ready to leave they called and cancelled on me :(. Part of me is happy as I didn't have to go out but the other half just wants it all over and done with.Darren's been away almost a week now and I'm coping ok-ish without him. i've had a few minor blips but otherwise I've been fine. I'm proud of myself for coping as well as I have.Tomorrow K is staying at my  mums so I've planned a night in with a friend, a few drinks, nibbles and lots of talking. I'm really looking forward to it.But the best news of all is still to come.... I managed to walk all the way to my sons school, which is about ten minutes away, and back without crutches!!!! i did it i finally did it! I was in a lot of pain afterwards and was very tired but i managed it all alone.
