A day in the summer garden :) sunflower smiles, and nature joys :)
A DAY IN THE SUMMER GARDEN! :) THE JOYS OF GOLDEN NATURE! :)
Hi angel friends! :) my family and i hope everyone is doing well, and having a peaceful day :) We got another sweet golden sunny summer day here. :) there's lots of awesome nature joys, including SWEET visits, from our nature animal friends! :) This morning, my dad said, "Chris, come check this out!" :) he was under our front tree outside, and i was here in my computer room, he called me on my cell real quick, to come check out a neat nature sight :) There was a happy baby woodpecker in our front yard tree! :) i went out into our living room, and saw the bird from our door window :) the bird looked very happy! :) my dad had been sitting outside, and was very close to the bird :) it was a really nice nature sight :) We love sharing in, and taking in, all of these beautiful nature joys, this time of the year :) my brother Charlie was over earlier, helping my dad with fixing a part on our jeep :) We got to show my brother the plants, and gardens :) he was very happy to see the plants, and we showed him the gourds pumpkins too : )there's many gourds growing, one of the gourds, is the size of a baseball already! :) WOW! :)
The nature, and all of the plants, continues to shine :) We're enjoying a really nice day, and a great start to the week :) the sparrows birds have been visiting the bird sanctuary area, in our yard :) i spot them often during the mid-day hour, while i'm outside, the sparrows love to eat some nice bird seeds, and bread :) i've been putting peanuts outside, and hearing more bluejays too! :) i love the peacefulness, of all of this beautiful nature :) that mid-day hour, where it seems so quiet all around, i see bumble bees buzzing around the sunflowers, and can hear the birds landing upon the bird feeders :) it's such a pure, amazing nature :) We've got lots of sunshine here, and weather has warmed up, to almost 80 degrees :) i love to tend the plants, on days like today, getting to give the plants a nice double watering :) very soon, i'm going to move some of our pepper plants that are in planters, to some sunnier areas by our grapevines, i've been noticing, the sun is shining alot on that area, and i'd love to put those plants in that area of our yard/garden :)
Earlier i was outside, by our snowball bush blossom, i was taking a picture of the snowball bush, and guess what i saw? A SPIDER!!! spinning a Web! :) WOW! :) it was so cool, and neat to see! :) the spider was spinning the web here, and there, it was awesome! :) i was enjoying seeing the nature sight, and even got a chance to take a picture of the spider, with the sweet blue sky in the background :) i am so very happy, and thrilled that everyone enjoyed viewing my new garden tour video :) i had an awesome time making the video :) the plants are really shining this time of the year, and as i made the video, i was so excited, and just went with the flow, as i walked all around our yard, and gardens :) i love bringing you all right there with me in spirit, with my writings, pictures, and videos :)
We've got lots more harvesting to look forward too : )our grapes, potatoes, pears, and also more tomatoes, string beans, and peppers, we'll be harvesting soon :) i picked about 5 more tomatoes today, and also another handful of string beans :) The string beans are growing so plentiful :) We got so many gardening surprises going on : )our gourds growing so nicely, sunflowers growing in our garden on the side of our driveway, plus, lots of marigolds, and cosmos :) i'm amazed, at how tall the cosmos plants have grown :) they are flourishing beautifully with the season :) This time in the season, is really amazing delight with the picture taking :) lots of sunshine, blue sky, and flowers :) it's a nature, and gardening heaven, i love with all of my heart :)
my dad and i are looking forward to seeing how many potatoes grew :) i'd really love to make a video, when we harvest the potatoes :) i think soon, we'll pick pears also, and the grapes are definitely beginning to ripen now :) We didn't get any grapes last year, so just having some grapes grow, has been such a sweet nature blessing :) The sunflowers, blossoming every day, especially the multiple sunflower heads growing on the same stems, it's really cool :) MEGA Sunflower, is a mammoth sunflower, i see these HUGE sunflower seeds growing amongst the sunflower :) i look forward to seeing the seeds ripen, and making a video, of harvesting/baking sunflower seeds to share with everyone :)
i gave our plants a really good watering today :) i love to see the soil, and the leaves of the plants, to determine how much water to give to them :) the plants in planters, i really love to soak the planters good with the water :) We got 2 water hose systems in our yard, one for the front, and one for our backyard :) it makes it easy, for watering :) it's really good exercise too, watering the plants :) i've been enjoying some iced tea with a little lemonade today :) turkey hill brand iced tea/lemonade is on sale at shoprite, i bought 1 of each :) i love to have a nice iced cold lemonade/tea, to enjoy, and i also love my iced coffee :) i'm excited, for all of the gardening joys, this time of the year :) even though it's the final week of August, it still feels like it's early august, as the month has gone by very fast. the plants are still doing so well, and producing lots of goodies, and all of the beautiful flower blossoms :) CHEERS!!! to this amazing season, that continues to reward us, in many wonderfully special ways :)

Mum and her family are doing well, and are getting ready, for their spring/summer season there in Australia :) it always fascinates us, how it's summer here, and currently winter, in Australia :) Mum wrote me some awesome updates, including how her and her husband, have been getting their yard, and gardens reaady, for spring season :) her son Kevin has been enjoying going golfing, and mum and Christine, are both planning their new gardens :) Christine's husband Gary, made a cool garden decorative for them :) this is awesome! :) i've been writing to mum, and family about our gardens :) it's so nice, how we get to share with eachother :) i sent mum and family a few pictures of our sunflowers/gardens :) Mum's got 2 dogs, named Billy and Zane :) they love to join Mum on adventures, and they sometimes go to mcdonalds :) awww! :) very cute, and adorable :)

We're enjoying a nice day :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) today for lunch, i enjoyed 2 baked potatoes, and a nice fresh crisp salad, with green olives, pickles, string beans, croutons, and ranch chipotle salad dressing :) lunch was delicious! :) i've been enjoying some nature walks, checking in on the plants :) i gave our front yard plants a really good soaking this afternoon :) it's a nice start to the new week :) Tomorrow is sweet treats tuesday! :) We're gonna go to mcdonalds to get some treats :) i want to see if mcdonalds is gonna have pumpkin spiced iced coffee again this year :) it's gonna be awesome! :) plus tomorrow, i'm going to put some finishing touches on writing postcards, and cards :) i pre-ordered the walking dead, season 4 on dvd, on amazon :) it comes out tomorrow, and is gonna be shipped :) i look forward to recieving it in the mail :) the original pre-order price was $51, and it went down to $24. :) very cool! :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are wonderfully nice, and sweet :) We deeply appreciate everything, with all of the love of our hearts :) BIG GROUP SUNFLOWER HUG :) tonight, i'm going to enjoy some pickles, and green olives for snack, and going to watch tv :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)

Long day for me but I managed to pick tomatoes... Glad i did as I sent some with Mary after she visited today. Pupz and I had a really nice and peaceful day that was very low key... I did bring some sunflower blooms in to the front porch to enjoy and was able to check out all of the beautiful blooms on the farm. Early morning is the way to go for me then preserve the harvest in the afternoon. Put up more tomato paste and dried more elderberries for winter colds and tea! I\'ll have lots to share!!! xmas presents this year...

Me,I just cleaned and watered our side yard and my flowers and plants. Going to be even hotter tomorrow they say!
