A DATE??? THIS COULD BE SCARY!!!!
Shortly after a posted on the Discussion Forum about ' Moving On" my friend calls and wants me to double date with her and her new boyfriend and his friend!!!!! Ok just so that it's really clear on EXACTLY how long it's been since I have gone out on a date let me clarify it.
I wore a BIG BIG PERM HAIR JUST LIKE MADONNA. Along with the hair came a lovely outfit leggings with a cut up sweat shirt off the shoulder of course with a BIG HUGE BELT oh and the piece de resistaunce LEG WARMERS AND LACE GLOVES WITH THE FINGERS CUT OUT!!!! Yes Ladies it was the 80's and I did it in a BIG WAY!!!! While Boy George and WHAM played as back ground music and bottles of Boone's Farm Tinkle Pink was the cocktail of choice. Now it didn't matter what your date looked like because we were all convinced that Tom Cruise the new HOT GUY FROM TOP GUN was going to swoop in on his Top Gun Jet and take you away. Oh Maverick and Iceman where have you gone... Oh let's not forget the Olivia Newton John Lets get Physical bag that held all the bottles of Aqua Net incase your frizzy perm began to fall....
Something tells me things are a little different now. Don't think I can handle it right now. So I told my friend Thanks for the invite but i'm going to have to graciously DECLINE..... She said ok T but you have to get out there sometime. WHY I LIKE IT HERE IN ANSWER TO NO ONE LAND....... IS THIS WEIRD? Should I be more open to going out on dates because just the thought of it makes me feel sick to my stomache and I have to head for the TUMS QUICK......

My drink was boones farm strawberry hill! I think going on a date would be fun, but I would have to bring tums!
The only date I had was with my first husband. The second date was with the last husband. I don\'t think there will ever be a third date. I don\'t drink but I think I might if there was a third date.
Too funny!! I think the fact that just the thought of dating makes you feel sick to your stomach is clearly a sign that you just aren\'t quite ready yet. JMO. I have the same feeling and it\'s been a year since divorce was final. I don\'t plan on it always feeling like this though! You are young, intelligent, funny, and loving, so what\'s the hurry? The time will definitely come for you...(Yea, for the Disney trip!!)

In all seriousness, my dear, I\'m glad you declined. Your divorce is far from being final and you have a minor child living with you. Please do NOT engage in any activity that could be construed as DATING by your stbx or anyone who might carry such a tale back to him as it could jeopardize your divorce process! Ok?
You are obviously NOT READY to date so don\'t let ANYONE tell you otherwise. There will be plenty of time for this later on.
