A Child to love...
This has nothing to do with rape or maybe it does. But I just need to put my thoughts down somewhere. Last year when I was pregnant with my four child a young girl was pregnant at the same time. I know her and I know how she lives because she is neighbors of mine when I lived with my parents.
I was always worried about the well-being of the baby growing inside of her and what she was doing to it (I say it because I didn't know the sex at the time). I soon found out she was having a girl. I was would find myself thinking about her. Soon I had my baby and I didn't see her for a long time.
One day my cousin (our dads are brothers) also the young girls cousin (their mothers are sisters) came by with a baby. sO I asked her who's baby and she told me it was the young girls baby. The system took her away from her mother at birth because she tested positive for Methamphetamine. She said she didn't want to but she agreed to keep her. I felt bad instantly so I told her that when she wants and if she doesn't want to keep her to bring her to me. She done her business while I held the little girl. I talked to her and told her to be strong and not to leave. I told her that someone loves her and worries about her. I told that if I can I would take her and show her the love that she needs. I kissed her head and my cousin came and they left.
From then on I worried about her and if she was ok. I began to see that she wasn't because I know my cousin and she is always drunk. It don't matter the day the time. She came back again with the baby and I held her again. I told my cousin to bring her to me if she needed to.
ABout three days later she brought her to me, it was about 10:00 at night. She needed to do this and do that. She told me that she was a meth baby so she shakes and cried because she's coming down. I knew that she wasn't that. She was just a delight to have at home. I knew she would be drunk and wouldn't come after her. Sure enough the morning came and she didn't come after her. I took the morning off and I watched her and my daughter. Time came for me to go to work. I needed to get a card so I took her with me and we went to get my card. I held her and I cried because she was so happy and content.
Upon arriving home my cousin told my boss and others that I had her baby and she wanted her back. They got mad at me but as much as I didn't want to I gave her back. I worried about her. A day later I was feeding my baby and my husband says "Oh baby's back. We should just take her." In walks my cousin, drunk, looking for the baby. She said she didn't know where she was and she lost her. Oh, my heart just shattered because I let her take her and I could've kept her safe. She used my phone to call around and she said she found her. I told her to get out of my house and straighten up before I take that baby or the system does. She leaves and I grab the phone and walk outside with my baby in hand behind my husband to report her and just then we hear the loud slam of metal hitting. I didn't think I just ran to my car and drove straight up to where the sound came from.
When I got there I could a brown van and I looked to my left and I could see my cousins car in the ditch and she runs to me. I just shout at her "What did you do? You hurt someone? What is wrong with you?" I run to the van along with two other people to help them. When the doors were opened it was a grandma and her three granddaughters. They were hurt bad. I told her family to bring the baby to me.
Since then I have been waiting for her to back to me. My mother has told me that I have a hard life and that I don't need another baby to take care of. I got furious with her and told her would if it was one my children in that situation what would she do? I told her that I am old enough and I am doing what any mother would do and that was love a child, take care of a child, even if it means sacrificing certain things.
I don't care how hard I have it. Because in all reality there are others out there that have a harder time then I do and that baby is one of them. If she doesn't have anyone to shoe her love when she grow up she won't be able to show love to anyone because she's never had it.

I totally agree with you on this. 150%. If you can feed 4 you can feed 5. A baby is a baby and deserves love.
I so hope this works out. I hope you have reported the cousin, no baby should have to stay somewhere they're not absolutely wanted.
