A chance to go home...by winning a bed a breakfast

There is a contest in  my home state to win a bed and breakfast.  You pay an entry fee, write an essay of (only!!!!) 250 words, and pray for the best.  Am I crazy to try?  Maybe.  But this would get me close to mom and dad, with a business and a home, without a mortgage...and I would love running it!  So, after discussing it with my sweet hubby, we decided to take a chance.  Here is my essay.  What do you think?

My name is Krysla, and I believe that owning a bed a breakfast would be all about home for me.  It would give me a chance to come home, to work from home, and to give others a taste of home.
I grew up in southwestern Virginia, and my heart longs for the beauty of the mountains I will always call home.  I am a military wife; my husband has served nearly twenty years.  We have moved many times.  Now we are serving at our final station in Illinois, so this is perfect timing.  Illinois is the flattest place I have ever seen!  My spirit sings in Virginia.  I need to sing again.
I would love the opportunity to work from home.  My children are very important to me, and they are growing fast.  I know this will be hard work, but I have never been afraid of that.
I would love to carry on the traditions that have begun at The Clairborne House.  The elopement packages are a wonderful idea!  I can only imagine the incredible blessing of being a part of a couple’s new beginning.
Also, I would really enjoy bringing a bit of home to others as they travel or celebrate.  I am armed with a tradition of southern hospitality, a love of people in all their variations, and a recipe for homemade biscuits that has won my mother blue ribbons at the county fair.
Please help me come home and share home.  You won’t regret it.
