a bump
Well.....for the first time since being off of house arrest, T tested the water a little more than he should have. Looks like T may be spending some extra time here at home. He left at 12:30, with a promise he'd let me know where he was and that he'd be home by 5. I know......kind of a long stretch but he's been doing well and I know who he was with. Well....T-Man never called and didn't show up at 5PM like I had asked him to. Even then he didn't come home until after 8, claiming he couldn't get a hold of a phone. Husband was home went he arrived. I am glad I wasn't.... I am so angry with my son that I needed time to cool down and was glad I wasn't around. We met with his probation officer for the first time yesterday and you would think.....T would have been more careful. It's just a phone call and I can have the probation officer set the curfew. He told T that he won't like the time he will set for him. So.....tomorrow I am going to have a heart to heart....and he's also going to get a strong warning because I am not fooling around.....

So sorry babe. I don\'t buy the phone story though. All his friends have cell phones. He could have borrowed one and called. But without all the other stuff in the past, this is typical teen behavior. It is just that now, after all we have been through with our sons, typical teen behavior is not acceptable because it brings too much angst to us. I truly believe though this was just a \"bump\" and T is on the right track. Much xo\'s to you today
Tough Love! You are so right, no excuse for not calling or showing up within the 1/2 hour. Hang in there!
