A Broken Record
Wednesday, March 25, 2009 I am probably beginning to sound like a broken record, but not everything has gone as well as expected this week, and I am not feeling as good as I would like. The test I had for a UTI turned out to be positive, and I have been placed on an antibiotic to which I am allergic. In spite of this, I am going to try and stay on it until I see my urologist next week. Yesterday afternoon, two nurses from my home healthcare agency came to see me. In addition to the UTI, they found a small blood clot in my urine, and my blood pressure, turned out to be high again. Despite taking my blood pressure several times, the nurses always got the same reading -- 165/119. By the time I went to bed last night, it was back to normal, and as far as I know, it has been that way all of today. Although I took my usual bedtime medicines last night, I was unable to get any sleep at all. I had to cancel the appointment with my psychologist for this afternoon, because I was still not feeling well, and was just plain worn out. I am hopeful of getting some sleep tonight.

When I see my urologist next week, one of the first things I intend to mention to him is the use of probiotics. Maybe he will like them better than my primary care physician. I usually get what I need sooner or later. It is just a question of time.
I hope so. You\'ve been on too many antibiotics too often and for too long.

Sleep mojo coming your way, Jim. Along with hugs.
Those infections are draining you so much.
Cheez. there has to be some way or another to permanently resolve this problem.
I hope your doctor finds one very soon.
Practicing good self care and self love is commendable in your decision to stay home and rest.
Deep peace and good health to you, Jim.
