A BIT SCARY

I must admit. The last 2 days at work, I did have time to finally catch my breath. I was thinking maybe things are finally changing and slowing down???  (Dare I say that?  Best not to I think)

In the next breath, I hear that PA has now had it's first death.  Was a 55 year old man. (Hell, he was younger than me.) WE have 136 cases I think.  It is a little scary to think it may   continue for several months before all is again back to some sort of "normal" I will admit this does rattle me just a little as I do continue out in the world... at work and among people... still trying to adjust and get on with my life.

Again reminds you life is too short and we truly never know . I hope you all stay safe and well.

I hope you stay safe and well too. You are right, life is uncertain. So I'm very thankful that Jesus has given me a certain future, no matter what happens here. I pray you are able to cope with all the disruption and uncertainty, and that we all come through this ok.

I totally understand why you are a bit rattled by this. You have been through a lot in the past few months and now this. You are still in public when the rest of us are told to practice social distancing. I have to say I appreciate all of the grocery store and pharmacy employees who continue to work so we can get supplies. Thank you for that.
We have 208 confirmed cases, 1 death and over 3000 cases under investigation. Absolute craziness!!

Stay safe and stay healthy.

Hugs, Kim

Well places like target have online pick up or even drive up services just like a lot of the restraunts have delivery and curbside pick up.I think for the essential employes should be protected by not allowing the public inside the store and having employees wearing gloves and mask and stores still cleaned on a regular basis to assure people they can eat there food and that way everyone is protected.

Monday I go into the hospital to deliver my baby.the hospital sent me out a letter explaining due to the virus spreading I will not be allowed to have visitors when the baby is born.the only 1 who will be allowed in there beside me is my husband and we will have to keep our door shut the whole time and was advised even at home not to have visitors at the house for some time.

Things are not slowing down at the bank. I've had over 100 customers today, when I usually have around 40 or so. Lots of people either withdrawing huge sums of money in small bills or deposit huge sums of money or checks from stocks and retirement accounts.
I've been cloroxing and lysoling and using tons of germx. Handling this disgusting money all day really is starting to get to me. At least I'm in the drive thru where no one can sneeze on me.
Everyone stay strong!

I heard a doctor on tv say that this could last as long as 18 months.

Maine has had 42 positive results, last I heard, but no deaths yet, thank God.

I am pretty much a hermit so I rarely go anywhere even when things are normal so am not too worried at the moment.

sweetgirl18 I am assuming that they will be inducing labor or you are having a cesarean section since you are going to the hospital not being in labor. I pray you and your newborn will be safe. You are the forgotten ones in this mess. I know in a lot of areas they are suggesting that women with normal pregnancies go to a birthing center or find a midwife so you are away from the hospital.
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers as all those on the front lines like Kim. All of you, please be safe. Thank you for keeping things going for the rest of us.

C-section they doing 2 weeks early because of the safety precaution for me.because of complications of the past with miscarriages and 5 years back giving birth to my daughter were a lot of complications during labor and Superbowl Sunday I blacked out due to to much stress on the body and that's when they recommended not only bed rest for the rest of the time but it would be safe to do it 2 weeks early.the hospital is the safest place for me I was told.
