A Bit Of Human Nature & A Random Act Of Kindness

You know, mankind sometimes sure leaves me feeling embarrassed & shaking my head.
I was at a huge christmas craft sale last night with my 2 sisters & we had stopped at a booth of a young woman who sold jewellry & accessories.  We were looking thru her booth.  I was sort on the outskirts with one of my sisters & the other was right in the booth so I didn't notice right away what was transpiring.  I strolled in & noticed the young lady whose booth it was had been crying & my sister was speaking to her.  We strolled away & kept on going.  My sister then explained that she had noticed the young lady crying & had quietly leaned over & asked if there was anything she could do to help or did she need to talk etc. etc.  She then explained that a woman had purchased an item & gone on her way.  A while later she came back & just tore strips off the young lady, walked up one side of her & down the other abt the fact that she had purchased a similar type of item cheaper at some other booth.  The young lady refunded her purchase but it left her very upset (you could tell she was the sensitive type).
Man were the three of us furious.  I'm too much of a lady to say what I'd like to say abt that woman, but how can one person be so mean & cruel.  So, we went on our way & in a bit passed a large booth that sold various edible & related treats.  They had these neat little individual hot cocoa treats fancy wrapped that contained the chocolate powder, then marshmallows, then chocolate chips.  We thought wow what neat gifts & continued on our way.  All of a sudden my youngest sister stopped, looked at us & said "hey a random act of kindness".  We looked at her & she said "lets chip in & buy that hot cocoa treat & take it to the young lady from the booth".  We both thought wow, super, fantastic, lets do it!!!!  It was only $3 so we bought it & took it & presented it to the young lady explaining it was a random act of kindness to help her feel better.  She was so touched & speechless she was almost in tears again but what a smile it brought to her face.
Man I can't tell you how super that made us feel.  It's hard to explain how your heart feels after doing something like that.
And, further, can you imagine if all kinds of people around you did random acts of kindness & that spread around, picure how beautiful the world could start to become.
I just felt I had to share this experience with my friends here.
I've got an update to do on my recent appt with my new reflexologist & reiki master but I'll do that separately maybe tomorrow.

That was so thoughtful of your sisters and you to do. That probably made her day over and above her sales. Act of kindness does not go undetected. She will remember you all.

That\'s wonderful! It\'s a huge blessing to be able to right a wrong like that. There should be more people out there who do things like that. I have to wonder about the cruel people though. What is it that triggers them to act like that? Some people say that theymust have a lot of hurt in their heart to allow it to just come out like that. hmmmm. Keep us posted on the appointments OK?
