A Bigger Picture... Part 1

This past weekend I was blessed in attending the Rock The Universe event at Universal Studios, a very revealing experience from different perspectives. One of the things I encouraged others to do when trying to view solutions for problems was to "see" things from a different point of reference, example, if standing at the entrance of a room then change your position to one of the corners to look at that same room but from a different angle. This is as close to having the spiritual guidance of the Holy Spirit as I can describe it... God will reveal what's to be known from the perspective of where He has placed you... according to your trust in Him (faith) for the opening your spiritual eyes.  Since my summer trip, I've been pending in writing a journal entry regarding a movie I saw then, which I hadn't seen since I begin my walk with My Lord. This weekends experience provided a confirmation of the point I am making now. The movie's significance is greater than what I had realized while being simply a movie-buff, Underworld contains in one of it's scenes the exact depiction of what is written in the following scriptures in Revelation 13: 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed.     12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. If you want to see the scene you can go to the following link and at 8:00 into the video segment you will find it then ending at about 8:30,  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo7-FnbFpxk&feature=related, it is graphic so please be advised. If you have viewed this movie or view additional segments to it you will find something else of interest, the creatures that are suppose to be portrayed are "werewolves", are depicted within the movie more like that of felines, as acknowledged in the commentary portion of the film... notice the description given of the beast in Revelation 13:2. Animation, special effects, television, technology are revealing details given almost 2,000 years ago... if we begin to look around us with the aid of the Holy Spirit.  Without removing the blinders the same message can promote an acceptance of a deception that seeks to separate us from Our Creator, this is something I experienced myself. Whether you have certainty of Our Lord's Salvation or you are not clear, as Jesus advised pray that you may be counted worthy to escape the tribulations of the Last Days.
