A big week in demonstrating love for myself

This week I took some chances in my efforts to learn to love myself. First I signed up for an improv class to start in three weeks. Peopple tell me I'm funny, so I figured I'd cultivate it by being foolish in front of a group   I spend a lot of time in 12 step meetings and I thought it would be nice to be in front of people and not say, "I'm Caroline and I'm addicted to x,y,z, and the kitchen sink for once." I am not ashamed of being a recovering addict. In fact, recovery gave me this wonderful life I have today, but it might be nice to do something with "earth" people for once. Also, I am in the thick of the job hunt with a second interview today. I was so nervous I couldn't sleep last night. Went shopping for toilet paper at 4 in the morning last night to give me something to do. I was thinking how interesting the world is in the dead of night. Nobody up except the delivery guys, the cops, and me. Did drop off at 7 am and had bizarre dreams and slept till 11 and since I am unemployed, I could do that. I don't know what this digression has to do with self love. Oh, another self love story. This weekend, I hung with my best friend and a new friend and played Scrabble. It was good making a new friend, who was very funny. We were losing so we poked gentle fun of the friend who was winning. We paid homage to him by calling him the "Ab master" based on him making the word "ab" during the game. We bowed down to him by making gestures of abdominal crunches. I thought it was funny...Oh I guess you had to be there. Anyway, I was concerned because I didn't have enough friends and hanging with this new person was good for my self esteem.
