A BIG HUG TO MY FRIENDS!

I just wanted to thank all of you, my friends and everyone else, for being my support system!!  I don't get on here near enough to give you all hugs, so I just wanted to give a BIG GROUP HUG!!!  I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the positive reinforcement.  I'd give anything to be able to grieve for my son!  It just seems like every time I turn around something happens and I have to deal with it instead.  I miss Robert so much and I'm terrified of all these firsts coming up.  My anxiety is high and not sure this medicine is working.  But I can come here and read your posts and comments and it comforts me to know I have such wonderful, caring friends that understand what I'm going through.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Huge, big hugs to you all, my friends!!!
Penny

We are thinking of you. We are all in this together, and it is all still so new to many of us. I hope that things calm down a little for you, and you are able to walk through your grief. However hard it is to grieve, it will help to move through it. Keep taking baby steps.

Please know I\'m keeping you close in my thoughts and on my heart. I know how much you miss Robert but do give yourself a little time. When you think of him, he occupies your heart and is close. I wish you peace and a little time to spend with your memories. Gentle hugs, Debbie

Dear Penny. We come here as often as we want and/need to. That is what it is all about. There are no expectations. I for one am just glad that I can be a support as I have been supported for the last 4 years.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I know Robert is with you but I also understand the heart wrenching pain of not being able hug him and hear is laugh.
The beauty of FMO is that we can come here any time day or night. It is 3 in the morning here!
Love to you and Robert.

p.s. My brother\'s name is Robert. He passed a year and a half ago. We miss him terribly too. I imagne him and Lisa together - him telling fishing stories, and Lisa making him laugh.

This is the beauty and the healing that is here on FMO. It is truly amazing what happens because of the sharing of our shattered hearts that in time will begin to slowly heal once again. It is transformative and filled with hope that we just keep taking all the baby steps and they lead us back to ourselves and discovering who we are in this moment.

Prayerful and hopeful for a moment of pause for you dearest Penny and Robert understands your heart in ways no one else can. Draw on that and trust...

Loving care for a gentler week and some \"dull\" days tossed in. That is what my mom used to call the days without crisis and I have come to crave and sorely need them as well. I understand...

Healing hugs right back to you and gratitude for your presence. YOU matter!

Sending you a hug right back. Take time to grieve, it is very important not to be a marter. My good friend told me the day my son died, Do not be the strong one in the family delayed grief is worse. She lost her son 4 years before me, she delayed her grief and when she broke down no one understood because she had been so strong. My daughter did the same thing about grieving delayed almost a year she then in turn was very mean to everyone. As her mom it hurt me to see her like that, but I could do nothing to help her, she would not let anyone in..

Learn from us who have been there do not put off your process it is so important that you continue on this journey one small step at a time. I do hope this makes sense to you.
Tight hugs Penny
