A Better Morning

I finally got a really solid night's sleep last night, and woke up feeling much better. The majority of my most recent flare up to the ginger has gone down. instead of being at a 5/10 discomfort level, today I'm starting at a 2/10... and one of those points is for low-level anxiety. Maybe by tonight I can be a 1 or 0 and hold there for a good long while.

I also got a shipping notice in my email that my red light therapy unit is on its way. 95% of rosacea folks say it really helps improve the management of their condition over the long term, but that it is a slow results producer. I really won't know if it's going to work for me for about 3 months. The upside is that there aren't any known adverse side effects. And, 3 months are going to pass one way or another.

Other than that, it's going to be a day centered around healing. The hubby brought home a new bird-themed adult coloring book for me (I'm a total bird nerd), the vet is coming by to do a geriatric check up on one of my doggies (Zelda, she's 16 years old!), and I'll be checking in with my real estate agent as we continue the process of trying to sell the house.

My hubby's job is being relocated to Atlanta, so even with everything else going on... we're moving!!! I'm ready for the agent to just find a buyer and let us get on with this whole thing. But, so far just lookers and no takers. I think that weighs in the back of my mind, too. I just want it done so I can start the process of selecting my new home and getting settled. And, Jeff will already have a job and a life waiting for him in Atlanta... I won't. So, I'll have to start all over again from scratch... scary yet exciting...
