A Belated Entry from March 3, 2012
I should have entered this back in March but i wasn't well enough ...
s afternoon I will go to the great St Paul's Cathedral in Pittsburgh to see the Bishop of the Diocese and along with a couple other hundred catechumens,( Catholic converts ) , and declare my desire to become a fully initiated Roman Catholic.This is called The Rite of Election.On Holy Saturday, April 7, 2012, the night before Easter, I will receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and my first Holy Communion. This will complete the first stage of my journey as a Catholic in Christ.On February 25, 2012, I had another TIA ( Transient Isochemic Attack ) which emulates the stroke I experienced February 5, 2009. During that time, I lose the use of the right side of my body but since I had no knowledge of it happening to me, I fell multiple times ( maybe 10 ).. Bruised & battered though i was from striking various parts my head and torso off of the walls, etc. I had no fractures and no broken bones.. My Guardian Angel and , I believe, the scapular I was wearing with prayers always on my mind , preserved me as God had my back !I survived for this day, & hopefully , a few more... Thank you God ! I was raised as a Catholic. But both husbands were not. I have found my way back to the church. I know that god has had a divine intervention to easing some of my pain.
You\'re amazing. God sure has plans for YOU! yOU ARE A KIND AND WISE PERSON. You give alot to many others - helping people is what you do well. I am glad to have met you through OTF; if offers me solice when I need it and gives me the opportunity to reach others who need support, also.
