A Bag of Seed
Today was my day for errands. Got a hair cut I've needed for months, then headed to Walmart to pick up my prescription. I had a list of what else I needed there so I made the pharmacy my last stop. Wild bird seed was on the list so I headed to the garden department to pick up a 20 pound bag. I reached down to get a bag off the pile and 3 more bags came with it and landed on the floor. Before I could bend down to put them back, a young woman came over and started put the bags back on the pile. I thanked her, thinking she was a Walmart employee. As she put the last bag back, I looked for her badge. No badge! She and her girl friend walked away with their shopping cart as I stood there amazed. But why should I be amazed? I see these people just about every time I'm out. They, just like me, help strangers when they can. It's fun to see the expressions on people's faces when you help them without being asked. I think they call it "paying forward". It's one of the good things in life.

I agree with that paying it forward philosophy, it is one that is heart warming. Glad that you were the recipient of that at walmart. It is one of those god things in life that makes life a bit nicer. Hope that you had a good hair cut.
TYPO, I meant one of those GOOD things in life.
