A bad routine...
I'm getting into a bad routine. I need something to do to take my focus off these constant headaches. I'm getting up and taking pain pills and then spending most of the day in bed. Sunday I got up and didn't feel too bad, then I went into the dining room I could see the bright sunlight outside and it was just like getting punched in the head. I hurt the rest of the day.

Dan,
I am sorry to hear that the migraine monster has gotten a hold of you. One way to change the focus of your migraines is to write out a new plan of action for your day. For instance, give yourself daily goals and plans to accomplish them. Whether it be drinking a certain amount of water, walking a certain distance, or reading a book. I have recently started this for myself by drinking water, walking around the block, doing some reading, For me this helps to know that I have not given in to the disease/pain. I hope this is somewhat helpful for ya.
I was thinking, well I can\'t go outside because of the sunlight, but I see what you\'re saying, get a routine of things to do. Since I stopped teaching 6 years ago I\'ve got way too much time on my hands and it just makes the pain that much worse. Very soon I\'ll be a licensed massage therapist and I hope to find useful things to do, although the schedule may be all over the place. Thanks, Dan
