11/14/07  My son is in Germany!! So, Tony woke me up at 3am getting up to go to the bathroom. Men and thier prostates. I really feel badly for them. But of course we women have our lovely menopause so I guess it's all even.I am super excited cuz my son Nick is in Germany starting up an Online satellite office for his company this week. So anyway, I wake up at 3am and go online and ping!! he signs on cuz it is 3 here and 9am there and they were just starting thier workday so I got to IM with him for a half hour or so. He is eating the local fare and using the thesaurus that is in his mind to communicate with people. He says the American dollar isn't well respected there. He offered a cabdriver a $20 bill this morning and the guy look at him like "What is this shit?"Anyway, it was absolutely soooo exciting to talk to him from this kind of a distance and time delay. I don't know how our ancestors got along without computers. It must have been either painful or maybe calmer because they didn't know any better than the snail mail thing. I actually still use that with a couple of old girlfriends because it is sweet to get a letter on paper and so fun to run to a mailbox hoping something is waiting there for you.Well, it is now 4:50 and I will eat my cereal, get my dog back in the house and try to get some sleep.
