Feeling good

I am happy to say that the last almost two years have continued to be pretty good. The winter months are hard for me even here in Fl. I cannot seem to take the cold without having a flare. I did not continue the LDN. My ears were ringing and I was worried at the time that I was having other symptoms from LDN. Now I do not believe it was the LDN. I think the arthritis in my neck was the problem. I was having tingling etc. I did lose the 20 pounds. Have 4 back on and am hitting the WW diet hard and am determined to get it back off! I have been a daily walker for the most part for the last two years. I have tried many diet changes. Stopped white flour, sugar, ate everything organic I could. All kinds of stuff. I believe for me that excess sugar bothers me as far as inflammation. Moderation in all things and keeping my weight down and getting sleep helps the most. I am having knee and hip pain. Maybe some of this is age. I am still not a healthy person as far as Sjogren's goes. I have to watch it. When we have visitors stay with us, as much as I love it, it wears me down and I have flares that last several weeks. I don't seem to ever get as sick as I used to though and I thank Jesus for that. Don't have to take much prednisone. Never over 3 mg and that is only for about 3 days in a row. Then I see if that is going to do the trick. If it doesn't I just take a mg or 2 for another couple of days and that usually does it. Mornings are still the best. I lay down most of the afternoon just popping up to cook or clean, things like that. I do all my heavy work in the a.m.'s. Had to put my sweet dog Betty to sleep Aug 27th 2014. The day before my birthday. What a good girl she was. Glad I got to have her. Love this site and how it has helped me. The people on here have taught me more than any DrĀ  concerning Sjogren's. Our combined experience has great value.

So happy you are doing much better. Congrats on the weight loss. :). Sorry to hear about your dog Betty. I know you miss her allot. We get so attached to our pets. It\'s heat breaking to lose them. My Sjogren\'s has really been acting up. I just take it one day at a time.
