Update
Long time since I have written. I do keep a prayer journal and comment in there about my health status as well. It has been over a year and a half since dx. It has not been easy that is for sure. I am not on any meds at this time for Sjogren's. The only thing that really does the trick for me is to go on a prednisone burst when my symptoms begin to get too bad. I think that If my poor ears could stand NSAIDS they would realy help a lot. My ears ring due to nerve damage. Insomnia is still a constant problem, although I must say I am getting 6 hours a night right now and I want to count that as a blessing! I met a lady who has Lupus. She says she manages her disease by getting a kenalog injection 1 or 2 times a year and takes Aleve twice a day. She also eats plenty of meat and good veggies and stays away from processed foods. I think she drinks a good amt of milk as well. Interesting! I wonder. I have tried the antiinflammatory diet some. I think it is healthy but they tell you to avoid all dairy on some sites. Lots of info out there. Hard to know what to follow.
