well, the boys are off from school for spring recess so I have been keeping really busy with them. it's a good thing for me, kept my mind very occupied. I also had lunch with my moms best friend and she looked so tired today. She is missing my Mom too. She went thru colon cancer and she is in remission now for 2 years. God Bless!  she always says to me, why am I here and she is not? and i say, maybe you were meant to see your daughter get married and have a child. (she became a grandma in january). Who knows? But it was nice to spend some time with her., she has an accent like my mom, so it always makes me smile to hear her say certain things. Today I am feeling very meloncholy. My friend is coming over with her new 1 month baby girl. I am excited to see her and hold that little miracle. love that new baby smell, so fresh! anyway, I will probably head down to the beach tonight or tomorrow with the kids, it is supposed to be in the 80's. We'll see how I feel later. I want to check in on my dad. hugs to all today! have a wonderful day!
