WTF?
It's been a long time since I've written to my friends here at DS. So long, that I wonder if you still consider me your friend. After spinal surgery and returning to work in February 2010, I was a little overwhelmed with the physical needs of my job. My back feels pretty good most of the time. There's daily aching and sciatica, but nothing I can't manage. Yesterday, my doctor said I need a reverse shoulder replacement for an injury I suffered at work in December 2006. I've been receiving injections for the pain since that date with hopes it wouldn't come to this. As the pain became worse and my range of motion lessoned, the doctor ordered an MRI which confirmed my fear. I will also have carpal tunnel surgery sometime in the future, it would be nice to have it done when the shoulder is done. The good news is I will become the new "Bionic Woman" for those of you who remember her...lol!!! I'm going to keep my sense of humor, knowing I will feel better after the surgery. Right?
