frustrated

I haven't been here in awhile. I thought that maybe I had a handle on my situation. There have been many distractions that have kept my mind off of everything. Selling our house buying our new house and joining the executive commitee of my son's softball league. But then it all dies down. life returns to normal and it hits. The realization that I am still not pregnant and life is going on around me. More and more pregnant people and more and more babies born.People are now telling me that they are scared to tell me that they are pregnant. They don't want to upset me. I don't want this. I have tried to talk to my husband, but I don't think that this is affecting him as much as me. His theory is that we have one and we should be grateful for that, which don't get me wrong I am grateful. But I can't ignore this unfulfilled feeling I have. He says that if we can't have our own he doesn't want anymore. In other words, adoption is out of the question. END OF SUBJECT What do I do?I am starting to resent him. I feel like he is holding me back. When I tried to explain this to him his immediate reastion was, "well if we split up, what does that solve? Your still not any closer to a baby?"I don't want to leave him, I feel that that is NOT the answer. But how can I make him see that adoption is a good choice? He won't even look at any of the information that I had our local agency send to us. He says no and he will never ever change his mind. ~~sigh~~
