Our Baptism is next Sunday..Something Jarrett should have been doing with us..I'm so sad hes not here..I cant go a minute without thinking of my sweet little boy and how his life was so unfairly taken from him..Sometimes I ask myself what is the bigger betrayal...the fact that I continue to live while my child doesn't? or Not wanting to live on to be there for the child that is still alive?

He WILL be there for you. If you believe in baptism, you need to consider the theology of it. Your grief is new and overwhelming, I know this very well because I lost my precious daughter a mere four months ago. Not wanting to live on...well, I would trade my life in a heartbeat to see my daughter alive, healthy, well and living a decent life because she was a right thinking, moral person despite her illness. Why do I live without her? Because there is some purpose and I\'m trying my best to find it and fulfill it. Some day we will be reunited with our children, I have not one doubt of that -- this from hundreds of life experiences that tell me God IS REAL and there is far more to this creation than our eyes see, our ears hear. Jarrett will be there next Sunday, in spirit. Acknowledge and include him, in your heart.
Hi Michelle. I know how you feel. I was at church this morning and at my church the kids are all registered on a computer before they go back to sunday school. Today the man said Hunter, Alicia, and Austin. I had to tell him today Austin is no longer with us. That was so hard for me to say that. I know my baby is with us, but i can\'t contact him right now on this earthly presence.I miss him so much! U and I are traveling on similar paths right now and i really do feel your pain. Im struggling as a Mom to be there for my other two, and at times feeling inadequate. There is a purpose for you Michelle as there is for me. We must continue on, God does not want us to give up. Loving Hugs!
Hi Michelle: I think these are feelings we all have. My son and I made an agreement that we wouldn\'t do anything rash - we both felt that the light of our lives was gone. We stay strong for Lisa\'s beautiful daughter Cevyn. It is our focus now. It would also devastate my husband if either of us left.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love and hugs, Marlene
Yes, Jarrett should be with all of you next Sunday. It is just so painful to think that he will not be. Your questions are ones that I know many of us have asked ourselves too. I believe your heart knows the answer and it only matters that you know. I remember driving home from the hospital when my son died and knowing that in that moment I had a choice to make. Whether there would be one death that day or two? I don\'t think my choice was a conscious one yet a primal one. Gentle care as you hug your son and husband and remember why you are still here. Loving care my friend. XO Joanie
