38 weeks tomorrow! I'm starting to become very anxious about my baby boy's arrival. I tested positive for GBS, and after doing alot of research on the subject I'm really worried that I'm not going to get to the hospital in time to recieve the two rounds of antibiotics needed before his birth to ensure his safety. It only took two hours from the time my water broke to have my first son. I found out you need two doses three hours apart to prevent the baby from getting sick, what if I dont have that kind of time? I see my doctor on Wendsday, I'm planning to ask that he induces my labor so that we can control when my son arrives. At least that way we know he's going to be okay. For the past 9 months my prayer has been the same, please let me make it to the next week....and now I'm begging my son to come out soon , it's funny how that works.

Sweetie,
Now, don\'t start worries. Listen to your doctor. It may not be as bad as you think. I have you on my Prayer List. You have had a successful pregnancy and now you can say, I made it through. Hope for the best and try not to worry! Wow ! A little boy ! What is his name going to be ?
Loads of hugs ! M.J.
Thank you for your words of encouragement...I send them right back at you!!! I\'m sure your doc will know how to handle the situation with the GBS. I know at my lamaze class the nurse mentioned that its usually not a problem if you don\'t end up getting the two rounds of antibiotics, they just monitor the baby more closely. But I understand you not wanting to take any chances!
I can understand your worries. I\'m sure when u talk to your doctor he will reassure u and give u the best option. Hang in there. Soon he will be here and all this worry will be over
