I cant believe how exhausted I am right now. I started my day at 7am today. I had my 29 wk OB Appt today at 8:50am, I left a little early to buy my doctor and his staff donuts. After everything I've been though with my other pregnanies and the constant visits and calls I made in my fist trimester, I thought they deserved a treat. Anyways, I ended up not being seen until 10am. There was an emergency at the office, apparently some nursering home brought in an old lady for an exam. There was no appt. made for her and the doctor didnt know hwy she was there, anyways, she ended up having an accident she was completely soaked in her own urine and had no extra clothng or diapers. Anyhow, admist the commoition they forgot I was waiting in one of exam rooms. I dicussed indcuing my labor on April 7th, I really wanted my child born on this day. It was my mothers birthday, she passed away 22 years ago she would have been 50 this April. Sadly my doctor wouldn't do it unless I consented to an Amnio at 37 weeks. I was not about to put this child through an invasive procedure because of something that is unnecessary. My son was born at 37 weeks so I asked how likely it was I would go into labor early again, and he said it was pretty likely.....still without the Amnio and my high risk status he advised against it. Oh well......Lets just hope my little one comes early on his own. After my appt. I had to run and pick up a percription at the clinic for my son and then I headed to walgreens to have it filled. I then had to get gas and pick up lunch for me and my babysitter ( who graciously babysat my son for 3 hours for free!) When I got home my son was bouncing off the walls......it's like he had had 10 cups of coffee. So we headed back out and went to walmart, old navy, pets mart, and then back to walmart...I always forget something these days......Then I got back home and put everything away, fed my son and myself. I had to get dinner ready for DH and put together my new baby mobile. NOw my son wants to play and I have no more energy. I look at my son and think....If only I could bottle that energy of his I'd be rich!!! Sigh......I need a nap!
