Today after my ever hetic schedule had slowed, and my son was happily fed, educated and entertained, he headed into his bedroom to watch some before bed TV. I took this opportunity to clean and make myself some rice to eat with my left over fried chicken. Since my hubby moved into the dorms I feel like a single mom. I spent a good 30 mins, feeling sorry for myself....I think it's the hormones......My baby will be here in 12 weeks, and it just occured to me that I have no one that will be here to help me when he arrives. Everyone I know has thier parents or some family member come out when they have childern, not me though. I lost my mother to breast cancer when I was three. My father and I dont speak much and when we do it's usually a predecent to another fight. I have a total of 9 borthers and sisters, only two of which I actually speak to. An older sister, who has three little ones of her own and is married to the millitary ( So I wont be asking her to come out here) and a little brother who is 23 years old and has never had to be repsoncible for anything in his life ('nough said?!). My In'Laws are great but are a very poor family, they'd never be able to afford the $4,000 it would take to get them out here from Guam. My hubby will take 2 weeks off, but after that I'm on my own. How sad is that....Okay I think I'm over it now.....
Just needed to vent. It's just hard enough as it is with my son whom I homeschool. I never have any me time and no one around here is willing to watch him for me. Yeah, you know I get that he's mine and it's no one elses job to take care of him but Gosh! It would be nice to have a break every now and then. Now with my little one coming, my biggest fear is that I'm going to burn out really quickly. Sigh~

I\'m sorry u have no family that can come help. I don\'t know what I would have done especially during Jordans colicky phase without help, and I don\'t even have another child running around. I sure wish I was close so I could help u out.
