My DH starts ALS January 3rd, he'll be living in the base dorms until late Feburuary. So we decided to go ahead and get the baby's room ready now. With Matt being gone I wont be able to get it done in time for the baby. I've got the room about 90% done it's just the little stuff I have left to do. An old friend of ours will be staying with us starting Saturday through Christmas while hes in town, so We'll be using the nursery as a guest bed one last time. I put my son on Christmas break as far homeschooling goes, we'll start back up Dec 27. It's a nice little break for me. I feel I've been overwhelmed with things I need to do since I took on the responcibility of eduating him. In the two weeks of homeschhol, my son has learned so much from me, it's actually a really good feeling. My hubby's actually asked me to take it easy, he thinks i'm pushing him too hard. I think as long as he's absorbing the information then he's fine. When I start to notice my boy is getting burnt out, I give him the day off. The only thing that worryies me is that he's not getting any social interaction. Lately he's been bouncing off the walls, due to all the pent up energy he has. I feel really sorry for him now that he has no one to play with. As far as my pregnany goes, all is well. Everyday I feel my little one bouncing around in there I breathe a sigh of relief and thank god for letting me keep him another day.

Manta, Thats the pitts, having your hubby gone at such a critical time.
But hey...Look at your son, and think, Hubby and I are making this sacrifice for you. Getting ahead for you and your brother. It won\" t seem so bad then. Great idea to go ahead and finish the baby room while Hubby is home! Great news that your pregnancy is going well !
God Bless! MJ
