13 weeks today! Wheew! I finally made it to the second trimester. However, today is also a sad day for me. A friend of mine from high school lost her second baby today. Her first was Still born and the second was premature, the baby put up a hell of a fight but didn't make it in the end. I feel so bad for her. It just doesn't seem fair. It kinda put things in perspective for me. For us high risk mom's we're never "safe" until the baby is alive and healthy in our arms. So today instead of celebrating my own pregnancy  I'm morning for all those who at this very moment are grieveing  the angels they've lost. May god be with them all to give them comfort and strength to get though the bad days, and look forward to the good ones to come.
