Once again I spent half my day in the emergency room being treated for dehydration. I was on the phone half the time arranging child care for my son, and trying to get my husband to come back home. I'm feeling better now, infact by the time that IV bag was almost empty I called a friend and asked to to bring me a turkey sandwich.smiley-tongue-out.gif I was so annoyed with my nurse though. My doctor said as soon as my fluids were done to let the nurse know and I could go home. I called the nurse and she said that she would close off the drip and call "my" nurse to come take out the needle. I waited almost 20mins...finally I went snooping around to find gause and tape and I pulled that darn thing out myself! My first try wasn't exactly pretty but I changed the bandage again and it looked good, the nurse even thought another nurse had done it....lol..Well, I'm off to bed. Take Care All.

When we had our ER escapade, I was really tempted to pull out the IV line when we had to wait and wait and wait. (But it was a scary PIC line.) Good for you!!!!! Please make sure you are drinking enough. My doctor has me drinking about 4 liters of fluids a day. Take care of yourself!
