Thanksgiving was nice.  I really missed Nick though.  We did get a phone call from him near the end of the day.  He had to work all day, didn't even get time for a decent dinner.  That made me feel bad, but next year he won't be "cranking" so even if he doesn't get home it won't be that bad.  Friday I got up at 4:30 and shopped.  Got all of the out of town shopping done and wrapped.  Now I just have to box up and mail.  My older daughter went with me.  She was actually a help.  Went for a 5 mile run yesterday morning.  It was frosty, but not bad.  I picked up a couple of pounds over the "holiday".  Hoping to loose them this week.  Picked up some fabric to made "quilted Christmas pillows" for some peeps.  It was great, for 26 dollars, I got all the fabric and materials.  Everything was 50% off and I had a coupon for another 20% off.  How awesome is that?  Someone else read the first three chapters of my book I posted on the internet and really liked it.  That made me feel good.  She made some editing suggestions that I think will be helpful.  I just need to get my butt in gear to work on that.  Went to the 'Holiday Lights Parade" last night downtown.  It was neat.  One float they actually built an ambulance out of plywood and flowers.  Really neat.  Especially for a small town float.  Today I am hoping to not go out except for church and get started on my pillows, some Christmas cookie baking and I did promise my daughter we would work on scanning some old pics into the computer.  UGH!  Not enough hours.
