I actually slept 8 hours last night.  Thank you benedryl.  Who ever invented that stuff deserves a nice comfy pillow in heaven.  So I am feeling a bit better physically.  Emotionally not so good.  Finally heard back from the doctor.  She doesn't think my bird has an infection. She thinks it is cancer.  She did say if it is cancer, they can try Rhimadyl or Prednesone, both have been known to shrink cancer tumors in birds.  idk.  She is going to call me back.  That is pretty good I think because she is supposed to be off today and she is taking time to do some research for my baby.   Well, I am off to run 5 miles this morning.  It is rainy and cool, so I will be running at the gym, but for 5 miles, no big deal.   Update: Well, good news and bad.  My bird seems to be doing better today after 4 doses of antibiotics.  Bad news is the doc still doesn't really think that it is an infection.  She really thinks it is a tumor.  She said if it is, they could remove it, but very dangerous as he has a major artery very close to where it would be, and that may not save him anyway.  So anyway, trying to get through the weekend and then we shall see.  Really hoping he keeps improving.
