Feeling a bit better. I ran 4 miles yesterday, took my time and took walk breaks as needed. actually the first three miles in 37 minutes, not bad and the last mile I slowed down a bit and did it in 13 minutes. I took my daugthers out shopping yesterday, went well. My older daughter bought her first strappless dress. My hubby asked her if that meant it would be topless by the end of the night. lol. She looked shocked and said no. I could never wear a strappless, didn't have enough to hold one up. lol. Okay, so hoping for a good day today. Update: Feeling tired. We did have a nice church picnic, the rain held off till it was breaking up anyway. but now I have to drive an hour and take Sarah to her soccer game and then sit in the rain for an hour and a half while she plays. UGH!! Maybe there will be thunder and lightening and the game will get cancelled. Does that make me a bad mother? I mean this game is scheduled for 5PM. That means we won't get to have dinner till 8PM at the earliest. That is when I was intending to go to bed. blah, blah, blah........

Soccer parents are an incredibly devoted lot. I admire you for your commitment. I wimped out when the girls were younger...went for softball instead which involved fewer practices and fewer games, but I do remember well sitting or standing in damp, chilly weather to watch them play...and often to watch them sit on the bench!
