Feeling a bit better today. My sinuses seem to have recovered. I ran 3 miles this morning in 38 minutes. Not great, but actually better than I have been doing on the 3 milers. I went to another job fair today. Not sure why I bother. Mostly offers to sell insurance. UGH!! idk, I couldn't sell a glass of water to someone dying of thurst in the desert. I can see it. I find a millionaire out in the desert and say, "here, I will sell you this for ten cents." and he says, "no thanks, I'll just die here. No offense." Of course, I wouldn't sell that man the water, I would offer it for free, and he would probably still choose to die. Anyway. The point is, I am not a sales person. I have hated selling things all my life from girl scout cookies to band candy. Always hated it. I did apply to Aldi. That is a cut rate grocery store if you don't know. I filled out the application the guy was handing out, brought it up to him, he asked me if I had graduated high school or had a ged. I mean, hello? I had already handed him my application that said I had a college degree! "No sir, I went to a very progressive college. They didn't really care if I had a high school diploma or a ged. Don't ask, don't tell you see." Then he asked me if I thought I could do the job. Yep, I do believe I can run items over a scanner, look at the cash register and give the change it tells me to give. Doubt I'll get the job though. I could tell he was looking at the tumors and not at me. I did apply to two clerical type jobs online. One is part time at first and can become full time. But part time for them is 35 hours a week. The main difference between part and full for them is benefits and I get all that from Jim's job, so no biggie. But hubby comes home tonight. Hurrah!

I\'m like you: selling anything for me would be impossible. My daughter just took a job with a telemarketer, another position I could hold for about 10 seconds. I love Aldi\'s. Keep the faith. Something will come along.
