This is unbelievable!  Went to CVS (I had a 4 dollar off coupon) to get some Zyrtac D for my daughter.  You have to pick it up back at the pharmacy section because of the decongestant part, no problem, right?  So the pharmacist back there was talking to someone else, and I had to wait about ten minutes.  Okay, it probably wasn't that long, but I was feeling tired and hungry, as it was right before lunch.  Another pharmacist came in and got the Zyrtac D, I had to give her my driver's license.  She typed in the info and it came back saying my ID had expired!  This was news to me because I had just gotten it last month.  She looked at it and said, "Oh, it doesn't expire till 2013."  I said, yes.  So she ran it through again, and again.  Same thing.  Then she suggested we take it up front.  She tried up there, same problem.  She got her manager, same problem.  He called the central office and they talked him through it.  Same problem.  Then he hands me back my driver's license and tells me it just isn't going to go through.  He started to hand me the coupon back, I told him to just keep it.  He said it was a problem with their system and that I could come back in a day or two.  I pointed out the the coupon expired tomorrow, he said, that doesn't matter, I'll honor it.  But what the heck?  My daughter needs the meds.  It was humiliating, as people who passed by and were sent to a different cashier had no idea what was going on other than my ID wouldn't go through.  UGH!!  Anyway, ran 3 miles today, felt good.  Weather is crappy.  I am so hungry today, just can't stop eating and my fun at CVS didn't help any.  Four days to the marathon, I just need to keep that in mind.
