I'm back and safe.  So incredibly tired.  Had a nice visit with my son.  I took running clothes with me, but was too tired every night to go to the fitness room.  Picked up  a couple of pounds.  My son seems to be doing well.  His is not quite out of the woods.  He got a chance to talk to the Master Chief who is going to recommend he be allowed to stay in the Navy, but go to a "stress management" class.  His hands are all healed up.  And he has made it clear that he is willing to do whatever it takes to stay.  So anyway, if he has to take the stress management class, it will delay his going to the fleet, which I am defiantely okay with.  Okay, running out of brain power.  I need to run to the store, pick up my daughter from youth group and go to bed.

A trip like that always leaves me exhausted, too. It sounds like your son is doing much better and hopefully his willingness to do what the Navy wants will work for him in staying in the service. Glad all went well on the trip. Must be a big relief. There\'s nothing like a face-to-face with our kids to really get a sense of what\'s going on.

Trips can wear you out.Happy to hear things are going better for your son and that he wants to do what the Navy wants him to do,it\'s better all this came out now beter he would have gone out to sea.It was good for the Navy to see that he has caring parents intrested in what is happening to their son.
