Had a pretty good morning.  The weather was beautiful  I had a nice 9 mile run.  My muscles feel really good.  Got some cleaning done around the house.  Watched the movie Miss Potter.  It was really good.  Really sad though.  Got our reservations for us and our dog for March 13 weekend for our trip to see our son.  Got some docs appt made.  But then, I got a call from my gyn doc.  Apparently I had an "abnormal mammogram".  So I have to go back for an ultrasound.  I did a quick self-exam (I do them once a month anyway) didn't feel anything.  I looked up abnormal mammogram online and it said that 80-90% of abnormal mammograms are not cancer.  Also, even if I do have a small tumor, it could be NF, and that would have a 4% chance of being cancer.  So anyway.  I am not telling my hubby, he would just be mad at me, and it may not be anything anyway.  so I'll go for the ultrasound and if it is negative, then I won't have to ever tell him about this.  It is a bit scarey.  I wish I could tell him, would be nice to have his support.  But he is so upset about the economy right now, this might send him over the edge.

Oh, Marah. I am here for you. Anything you need. I will pray for you, absolutely. I hate to say I understand, but I really do. If you need to talk, just let me know.

I\'ve had that diagnosis before....\"abnormal mammogram\"...and it is nerve-wracking. I had to go for follow-up xrays for about 6 months and then they declared me okay. The abnormal was normal once again. There can be shadows on xrays caused by lots of things...a speck of dirt maybe. It\'s happened to lots of people I know. So I would try not to give it much thought and enjoy your weekend with your son. Weather here is better as well and they say it may get into the 60\'s this weekend. Yesterday would have been warmer but the wind on the snow kept it feeling coolish. I did wake up with a \"spring head,\" stuffy the way it gets when the sap starts to flow. We\'ll get there yet!
