Interesting morning. I had a docs appt at 9:30, so I couldn't eat anything. And I had a three mile run. But I felt pretty good. So I think I am ready for Sunday. A little scared, a little excited. I picked up my stuff, my timing chip and my number. Got my daughter a turtle, she named it angel. It was a pain in the butt to get set up, but I think it will all work out.

My niece bought two turtles for her kids one summer when we were all vacationing in SC. She smuggled them onto the plane in her jeans pockets and got them back to WA, and they are living happily in their tank....five years I think!
