Well, another month.  Here we go.  Feeling once again like I am in a freefall.  I have a job interview this morning with Compassionate Caregivers.  They provide "non-medical" care to senior citizens so they can remain independent longer.  You have to do some cooking, cleaning, run errands and transport them to doctor appts and such.  Sometimes you have to help them with grooming and toileting.  Not sure I would be comfortable doing that for a man, but they may try to match you with someone of the same sex.  Anyway, when I spoke to him on the phone yesterday, he didn't sound real happy that I didn't want to work weekends or nights.  I told him I would be willing to work 9-3.  That way I could see my kids off to school and be home when they get home in the afternoon.  We shall see.  I do have a couple of speeding tickets, so that may knock me out anyway.  I have another one on Friday with an "early intervention" program, but I may call her and cancel.  The more I think about that one, the less I want it.  It is 7-4.  So I would have to leave before my girls go to school, and wouldn't be home when they get here.  And it doesn't pay very well either.  And it would make running a lot harder to fit in with all the housework and kids activities. And I would probably have to give up my book.  Trouble is, we need the money.     Marathon is in 2 weeks.  I did a three mile run this morning really early.  It really felt good.  I am going back to okay.  Who knows maybe tomorrow will be good? Update  Well, I think the interview went well.  I really am hoping to get this one.  Which means I probably won't.  But the guy did say he was 'impressed' with me.  So do I cancel Friday's appt?  I really think I do..  I will decide tomorrow.

The Friday interview might be a good time to \"practice\" your interviewing skills. Have you ever looked into any of the \"work from the home\" computer jobs that are available. I know i looked into it for my daughter at one time and there were quite a few opportunities. You have to be pretty careful in picking a company as there are also plenty of rip-off artists in that line of work, but it might be just the thing. I know some airlines have at-home reservationists. Worth a thought, maybe.

I hope you find the job to meet you life needs. Its amazing that many places say they are flexible but then when you have the interview they have a different idea. Good luck in the Marathon! God Bless!
