Back home and safe. Had a nice visit. Saw my brother who I have not seen or talked to in a long time. But while we were gone, our little black dog died. So, not feeling very up today. At least he died at home and my son was with him. He didn't seem to be in any pain. But it just isn't going to seem the same around here.

I am so sorry to hear about your doggie. They become apart of the family and we grieve pets too. I pray that our Lord will comfort you and your family during this time of loss.

That is so sad. How old was he? When pets die, it leaves such a hole in our lives. Glad you had a nice time on the trip though and were able to reconnect with family.
